Berlin-based producer Pascal Hetzels 2022 album ASLM gets a fresh reimagining with the ASLM Remixes LP. Featuring reworks by a handpicked selection artists, this remix collection breathes new life into the original tracks, offering a diverse range of sounds that stay true to the albums dystopian and futuristic essence. The remix LP opens with JakoJakos take on RBBRMN, transforming the track into a broken-beat cut with pitched-down electronics. Its an ideal opener, setting a futuristic and moody tone that draws you in. Next, GAEL reworks TWST into a bass-heavy, hypnotic cut. With underwater-y atmospheres, ethereal textures, and a stomping kick drum, the track builds into an emotional sequence that feels both haunting and cathartic. Kaiser steps up with a deep and groovy remix of SLT, delivering a driving force from start to finish. Liquid synths, frantic pads, and bell-like percussion create a sense of momentum that pulls you into oblivion.
